Hello! I’m Sarah; thank you for checking out my page, Lady Bear Patterns.

My sewing journey began in 2020 when I inherited my great-grandmother’s sewing machine after she passed. She was an avid quilter, and I will always remember the awe I felt when looking around her sewing room – the stacks of colorful fabrics filling up the whole closet. I didn’t know how to sew, but it felt so special to receive her machine and take part in her craft. I quickly became captivated and taught myself the basics by following indie clothing patterns.

Within that year, I created an initial version of the bunny doll pattern you will find in my shop. A family member was having a baby, and I wanted to gift them something handmade and personal. I have since gifted many handmade bunnies to little loved ones, and after lots of time perfecting and testing, I am thrilled to share the doll patterns I have made with you!
